Secundus Joins the Royal Fleet

Whilst I was without web access over the last five weeks I was able to get the last of my Centauri ships painted. I added a Secundus as well as a second Balvarin along with three tiny FA scale Maximus Escorts. Although the Maximus' were much smaller than I thought I have grown quite fond of them (they are also very good at going un-noticed on the gaming table :wink: )

Very nice paint. I especially like the highlighting and shading. The metallic turrets are also nice, as they stand out from the rest of the ship. Great job.

That secundus rocks. I like the idea of extra turrets, something to use all those spares from my centauri fleet on.

I did the same with my 2nd Primus - extra turrets look cool - I just use the ones I don't put on the bottom of the ship

I have to disagree with Derina - I've been 'practicing' for 20 odd years and have never gotten that good.

None yet... although I woukld not use the EA styled pods that Mongoose sell. Most likely I will through together some counters or convert something.

Just Watered down black paint. I must admit the shading on the Secundus is a little too stark for my liking... It goes from dark to light too quickly and the silver is too bright. I might have another swing at it later on.
