Second iteration of City of Tishrei setting now available

Hi,

The second iteration of the City of Tishrei supplement for Fire and Sword is now available. While intended for Fire and Sword, a lot of it is not system specific and may be useful to MRQ GM's as well.

There is a map of the area, description of the geopolitical situation of the city, 13 institutions, sample characters, etc. It can be downloaded {along with Fire and Sword itself| from the Fire and Sword download page at:

Hope you enjoy it,

Ray,

May I assume there are also cities of Nissan, Iyar, Sivan, Tamuz, Av, Elul, Heshvan, Kislev, Tevet, Shevat, and the twin cities of Adar I and Adar II?

Hi,

You've spotted where I got Tishrei from, but no, it is not reasonable to assume that the other cities have the names you suggest.

For the benefit of others, I got Tishrei from the Seventh month of the ancient Jewish calendar:

I named Tishrei before realizing that I wanted an Indian flavor to the setting. So I probably won't use the other months of the ancient Hebrew calendar. Most of the other names in the setting are Hindi or Sanskrit or derivative from Hindi or Sanskrit. I think I mixed in some names from the Shah-Nameh as well.

Ray,
