Scale of Ad Astra ships

Having ordered a few Ad Astra ships (scouts, beowulf and pinnaces) to help Loren Wiseman, I was wondering (as I haven't taken delivery yet) what the scale of these minis are?
Also (as I might get the fleet packs for PPF in the future), what is the scale of their capital ships?

The fleet scale Imperial and Zhodani starships are 1:7,200.

The adventure-class scout, free trader and pinnace are a different, much bigger scale, but I don't recall if it has been stated. Incidentally, they look bigger than the adventure-class starships RAFM issued for the Traveller: The New Era incarnation of the game.

So both types are clearly incompatible scalewise.

The old RAFM ships were 1:1400, IIRC. The Ad Astra Scout, Pinnace and Free Trader are actually the old Mega Miniatures ships, which were done at a much larger scale - my guess is about 1:700 or so.

I've expressed my opinion to Ad Astra that they'd see better sales on the Traveller ships if they'd two things:

1. for the fleet scale ships, offer them individually in their web store.*
2. for the adventure scale ships, redo them at the old RAFM 1:1400 scale.

I invite anyone who shares my opinion to let Ad Astra know.

*Yes, I know you can buy them individually, even though they're not on the webstore, just by calling or emailing. However, having tried to purchase some individually via their methods, I prefer not to buy any more individual ships at all rather than go through that nightmare again.

About 1/700 - thanks! That's what I needed to know.

I sold all my old Traveller ships a while back, so there won't be any scale conflicts here.
