Russia in BF Evo

How many tanks did the USA have in 1939? How many did it build in the next 5 years? If the need is there then it will be done.

I have nothing against the MEA or some new factions getting some older kit from elsewhere in the world. I just don't want to see 2 or 3 factions that are pretty much identical kit wise.

First you have to have the infastructure in place to do it. The Middle East doesn't have any heavy industry in place that could handle such a feat.

There has to be some cross-over units allowed in the game, as the real world has this already.

Doesn't mean there will be in future though, by the timeframe of BF:Evo it could all have changed. The factions might see it a a matter of pride to only field homegrown equipment.

Except the MEA already use AK series rifles, Tunguska AAA units, and a variety of russian/soviet RPGs and Draugonov sniper rifles...

I repeat my earlier comment.

I also clarify that I'm not saying the opposite either, I'm just pointing out that in the 10 years ahead, anything could happen. Like having umpteen episodes of Stingray in a row

Though in Finland they have been retired from use and are just waiting for either destruction or possible sale(Vietnam possibly according to wikipedia) since destroying those would be expen$ive.

Sorry, we don't use them anymore. They were retired from service in year 2000 IIRC. Some were scrapped, other have been sold (incl. to the general public - some people like to have a tank on their lawn).

My Bad, using older information. Funny you should mention a tank on thier lawn. I live outside of a very little village. I was raised in that village and was born in it. The house I was born in recently was destroyed and a small park was made on the site. They put a M48 on it! Now, I wish I had a T-55 on mine, but I'd never be able to fit inside it unless I lose some weight!!!
