Rulebook fleets or Fleetbook fleets

i have as i think i posted earlier an editable word dock that is really easy to edit fo whatever ship you want, so if anyone wants it i can post it and maybe it could be stickied, its dead easy and takes minutes to do a fleet, no where near as good as cherns, but usable until they are all done.
its best to wait so we can get a good set of stat sheets in the end.

I know there are a lot of people who want their whole fleet done at once. But I'd like to make a case for starting with the fleets in the Rules book.
1. It would allow Chern to work on some ships until the Fleet Books are ready - and it wouldn't be wasted work.
2. It would really help to demo the game. Each of the Big 4 races are represented and it would be really helpful to have access to some cards.
As it stands now, if Chern waits to get started until the fleet book arrives, and he does an entire fleet at a time, then <i>someone</i> is going to have a long wait until they've got ships to field.
At least by doing the ships out of the Rules book, we'll have something to work with while we're waiting to get the stuff from the Fleet Book.

I would prefer the whole fleet be done at once. Just my 2 cents. No jumping around from fleet to fleet. Thanks for the service you provide this group, no matter which way you choose to do it.
Im with Were Rogue, and from the comments in the other post, there are 4 fleets with 4 ships in each (and a couple of fighters) in the Rule Book. These lists include the big show Icons (G'Quan, Sharlin, Omega and Primus).
Chern can get 4 ships to a page, so 1 page of ships and 1/2 page of auxillaries for each race.
It means EA, Narn, Minbari and Centauri all get a little bit of loving before Chern gets the unenviable slog of churning out his rather snazzy fleet cards.
Other than that we may be in for a long wait (I'm sure Chern has a life outside making cool gaming play aids) before their whole fleet is available.
