Reverse-Engineering the MM

Ok, the LW game doesn't use feats nor the same spell system as D&D, so whats the best way to take monsters from D&D for use in LW?

Any ideas how to handle this?
 
Best way would be to see how it works using the MM w/ HD, or in this case End. Dice, as levels to determine feats. Everything else is trial and error
 
I am using an adventure module, using standard DnD monsters, and I have had no problems using the monsters as is.

The only problem is that it doesn't have the same feel as Lone Wolf should have.
