Reticulan Parasite

An old article mentions an alien-like creature, said to originate on Zeta 2 Reticuli. Where would that be on the Traveller Universe map? Somewhere in the Solomani Rim I presume...? Any ideas?

Zeta Reticuli is only about 12.1 parsec from Sol, so it is definitely within
the Solomani Rim region.

I suspect that the Alien was always intended to be the perfect parasite, and not the perfect hunter.

I liked the D&D writeup done in Space Gamer many years ago. The eggs had Alignment of "Patient".

Finally hunted down the article they were featured in, Journal of the Travellers Aid Society issue #4, 1980.

While the article is rather true to the life-cycle that HR Giger created for the xenomorph in the first movie, later films retconned certain aspects of this, So personally I would bring in the "queen" alien, as well as the ridge-headed warrior aliens from the second film.
