Resin Brainbug

the tiny back legs of the tanker work well as legs for the Brain... I just finished a conversion that does this amongst other things... I'll be posting that later this week.

Well like I said before the legs need reworking and it's far too streamlined with a flat profile.
Extra detailing could be worked into it with folds of flesh on the back quite easily.

I'd have it rearing up a bit at the front with the legs repositioned to support the weigh so it didn't tip forwards when placed on the table.
It'd give it more character and make it less "Mr Hanky" like.

I personally think that the body needs to be more maggoty looking with some filling out at the front around the head.

very true, compared to the movie the brain bug model is 'tight skinned' and probablly going to a weight loss center.

Yeah, those M.I. brains are like chocolate, aren't they? Hard to quit once you've tried em.

So you eat brains.

Ergo defacto buships and brains bugs are zombies

Well, it wasn't meant as a first-person comment but I think you knew that.

Hey, Reavers are "space zombies", right?

It does make me wonder if a faction in the future will have something that can eat Brain Bugs though. Turn-about tactics, for sure.

Max was it this tanker?

*Cringes* Ouch....

Anway that is a good point. What could a brain bug not affect? Robots? It could still crush them using mind powers. And what if someone ate bits of a brain buG?

edit:
oh and to produce a tiny bit more than random spam:
I think its okay, Its basically just the same model it seems to me, but squishy is squishy, I never really saw reasons for improovement besides the often critiqued model quality.

Nope, they ain't (un)dead . . . .

Good point. In a way, they're the opposite of dead. They're really, REALLY awake if you think about it so that makes them unliving.

Joss Wheadon said it the best, they have TOO much life to know what to do with themselves - and that makes them very VERY angry.

Anyway, thanks for assisting me to come up with my term of unliving, which I like better than Joss Whedon's asnswer . Besides, he'll eventually read this and adopt it as his term for the Reavers, lol.

Its a nice term, but makes no sense. If they are MORE awake and alive than a normal bloke, doesn't that make them MORE than alive rather than 'un' living Lol!

Obviously, it's meant more as an antonym to the term undead and even could be considered as a parody of it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
