The possibility of recycling robot brains into new convict bodies could lead to some interesting legal terms.
"For the crimes you have committed, the law permits but a single punishment, death plus five years. The sentence of this court is that you be taken from here to the place from whence you came and there be kept in close confinement until tomorrow morning, at that time you will be taken to the place of execution and there euthanised by cerebral amputation. Your body will serve five years in penal servitude at the pleasure of His Grace the Duke. When your sentence has been served your remains will be returned to your estate or disposed of in any permitted manner of your choosing. May God have mercy on your soul."
