Hello,
I come from Greece. I was reading Lone Wolf in the 80's, so I'm glad there is there is an RPG now with the same, simple rules.
On page 43 I read: ' Only one bonus should be applied to any test, so players cannot simply add bonus after bonus'.
So, I have some questions:
1) Ganging Up(-19-): My character is in combat with an enemy who is already fighting one other character. So, he gets +2 bonus. This bonus is for the the first combat round only or for the whole battle?
2) If my character has Weaponskill (+2 bonus) or Mindblast (+2 bonus), does he get another +2 bonus, because of the Gangin Up rule, as in the above example? Reading the rule for one bonus on page 43, I understand, that he can't get a second bonus.
3) Engaging many enemies: Two enemies are fighting my character, so each one of them gets +2 bonus. Is it only for the first round of combat, like the first question?
4) If I use Weaponskill can I use Mindblast in the same round of combat?
5) If I use Mindblast, can I use a shield, too?
I hope the expansions won't change the simple rules a lot and make Lone wolf more complex game.
