Agents of Gaming are still selling ships so you may find what you need there. The company is out of business but the site is still being used to sell remaining stock.
Did anybody buy items from Agents of gaming lately? The internet site of AOG says that it went out of business in 2002, the last update was 2002. I really doubt that any items bought from this site will ever arrive.

Several people have answered the first question, so I'll concentrate on the second.
There's a scenario in the rulebook recommended for solo play, the one about the attack on the Vorlon listening post.
Otherwise, solo play basically means you play both sides. Try to be fair. If your sympathy lies more to one side, allow some decisions for the other side to be made by dice roll, and give them some compensating advantages. For example, you're about to hammer one of the opposition ships which hasn't fired yet - maybe if a real player had been controlling it, it would have declared "Close Blast Doors", so roll a die, on a 4+ it did in fact declare "Close Blast Doors". Conversely, maybe you did declare "Close Blast Doors" for an opposing ship but it ended up in a good position to attack several of your ships and hasn't been attacked yet, so has not benefitted; roll a die, on a 4+ it did not declare "Close Blast Doors" after all and can attack all targets.
Aren't the Agents of Gaming minis a different scale than the Mongoose/Iron Wind models? For some reason I thought the AoG models were smaller than the Mongoose/IW ones. I prefer the latter, which sadly are hard to find.
AOG had 2 scales, the first was nthe same as Mongosse used. The 2nd was Fleet Action, where ship miniatures were very much smaller then the usual scale
Mongoose capital ships are the same as the B5 Wars ones, but Mongoose fighters are mostly the same as the Fleet Action ones (six smaller models on one chunky metal hexagon base).

There are a couple oddball ones ships that are fleet action as well. White Star fighters are fleet action White Stars. I believe the Olympus is the FA model as well.
Also, to make your fighters look better, you chop those stupid studs off the FA fighters and stick a pin in them and base them on a flying base. They will look much better
