Problems accessing my Wish List at Mongoose Publishing

To Tha Moon!

Banded Mongoose
I can't access my Wish List at

Not sure if it's a server problem or what.

I can access the website, but when I click on my Wish List, I get 3 dots that keeps flashing back and forth in the middle of the screen and my List never comes up.

I let it try to connect for about 5 minutes.

Any help would be great

I can confirm that I had exactly the same experience two days ago. Additionally, when I created a new Wishlist, it would occasionally vanish from the dropdown menu. Items that were added to the Wishlist also disappeared as if they had never been selected. However, upon returning to the product page, the items were still marked as selected, even though they did not appear in the Wishlist.

Glad to say that the issue cleared up yesterday, and I just double checked, and it is good right now. If you are getting problems still, I don't know, but it looks like a server issue if at least two of us had/are getting similar symptoms.

I turn my VPN off and it works. I turn my VPN back on and it stops working,

I think I found the problem.

But how do I keep my Traveller addiction secret without the VPN up?

:O

Ah! I don't use a VPN, so not quite so similar as I previously supposed.

As for the last bit, not quite sure what you mean? Why do you want a VPN to access the publishers website? It is not a geographically restricted website, hence no real gain. Similarly, unless you are using an unsecure wifi hotspot, no real gain.

Or, by "traveller addiction secret" did you mean visibility of the wishlist? Here, I cannot see any declaration of use of data, in the privacy section of the site. So I assume the wishlists are visible to only you. Some sites, for example Zatu games, say that data can be visible to the company, therefore it is good to use for out of stock items, to flag to the company that there is still some interest there in an out of stock product.

However, a wishlist, on any site, is not an obligation to buy. The whole advantage of a wishlist, is that you can mull over your select choices and get a sense of whether you really could do with them, or not. So you can create list(s) just to goggle at, and then get bored of them over time. Personally don't care if the company notices me doing that. I'm more concerned that my bank knows what I have bought, when I complete an actual purchase 🤓.

Besides, I don't believe a VPN would block visibility of your wishlists, if that was what you were hoping. Needs more info, to answer the intended question.
