primus attack pic

It doesn´t actually have to be that big; the pressure within the ship should shoot out the oxygen (or whatever is used to breath by the crew) for quite a distance, at least in the first few moments...

though why the flame is also following the law of gravity I don't know

oh blimey, its only a pic, lol. if it was a little spout it wouldnt look good,
anyway they got hit in the canteen and thats that fat from the deep fat narn fryers, :D

actually doing it properly with the vacum etc force of pressure as i have done on the eve ccg stuff that i done using a pure physics engine you use water as the main substance before colour, as in space the first look of it is as rolling water, i know this one was well over top but it only took me 10 mins as apossed to 2-3 days for a full on one including planets etc,
ah wellglad your all having fun with it
cheers

It's not, it's just obeying the laws of pressure.

LBH

surely its not,
if theres no gravity then it relies on pressure coming from them vent to shape the flame, internally the ship having more pressure will vent quicker (maybe not in pic that much the flame is for effect) so cause the upshot

but the flame you drew is a typical leaping Earth flame shaped by gravity

in space flame wouldn't happen like that

yea i know, aint heard the last of it, only done it very quick as i said just for people to look at for fun, who guess it would start a major physics debate, lol :D

Great Pics darknight, look forward to seeing more of your good work. Don't take the criticism too much to heart, some of the posters attitudes on here, like the vacuum, suck

na, i said in the beggining it was only a quick pic of a few models i just done, if i had wanted it acurate it would have took longer, i think its funny the size of debate its caused, at least people speak to each other, but i still say the size and shape of rupture isnt a set thing(EVEN THOUGH THIS ONE WAS DONE FOR FUN) IT ALL DEPENDS ON SIZE OF HIT WHERE HIT WHAT WAS ONBOARD AT THE TIME LOADS OF THINGS, WHO CAN SAY IT SHOULD BE BIG OR SMALL, still thanks for the comments ill do some more in a while ,
dam that caps lock..

[Artificial gravity is leaking! Quick seal the hole before it all escapes!!!)

That sounds like what my dad used to tell me about power points in the wall to make sure I'd turn them off. He said that if you leave a power point turned on, without something plugged, all the electricity would leak out and make a great big puddle on the floor. And if you walked into it you would get a shock. Don't get me started about what they use to tell me about escalaters.

Do you know there is a grain of truth to that! 8)

Sockets do sometimes leak electricity, there was a study a few years ago

Oh no    I'm going to have to start wearing my shoes with the inch thick rubber soles again!

It is a very nice shot of the primus by the way. Is the avatar with the vorlon cruiser one of yours as well?

yep, the vorlon is mine too, glad you like it, i try and use my own models for a change, sort of cant do the pic without the proper ship
