I do like the look of the new vehicle manual - I'm less bothered about the detail so much as the story, so this is a more suitable one for me; I like the ability to put together an expensive limo for a car chase in a couple of minutes, whilst holding a conversation, once I realise I need one, not half an hour of prep work.

It's the same reason I like 760 patrons and 1001 characters and will be getting the campaign guide - players are awkward, contrarian sods who delight in finding the one path you never prepared for and leaving you after the session staring at eight square kilometres of painstakingly mapped warehouse district in which they never set one bloody foot.

Not that I'm at all bitter, of course.

Solomani book looks awesome. I am sold the moment I read the words:

Dolphin Battle Dress

Hey really nice illustrations for that Vehicle Book! Great stuff.

One question - the preview lists a gun with SAP ammo - what Supplement is SAP ammo in?

Semi Armour Piercing (SAP), Full Armour Piercing (FAP), and so on are a concept introduced in Central Supply Catalogue.

Essentially a SAP round ignores a number of points of armour up to half its damage dice (so 1 point of armour - TL1 Jack - for a SAP bodkin arrow from a 2D6 damage bow).

Most Gauss and bullet weapons were given the trait to a greater or lesser degree.

There also seems to be a problem with the life support for
submersibles and submarines, on page 28 it states that all
submersibles already have a life support system, and the
chassis type table mentions the number of days the system
can support the crew, but both the Research Sub on page 89
and the Submarine on page 90 have the Long Term Life Sup-
port modification, while the Nuclear Submarine on page 124
does not have it - slightly confusing, at least for me.
