Haven't got beyond The Beyond yet. It turns out the galaxy is very big, and there have been lots of adventures just travelling through Deneb and the Trojan Reach. Even before getting of the ground at Giikur, where there was a lot of dangerous politics around what they are doing and the secrets they carry, since Alpha and Endeavour, in liquid nitrogen sample containers with biohazard stickers on. They made enemies of the Glorious Empire and friends with the fabulous Tisnee Zazzle by rescuing some slaves from slavers, convinced a TV archaeologist to bring a possibly important Ancients artifact along from Dostoyevsky, and were convinced by Scout intelligence to conduct a spy run through an Aslan Naval base. The next obvious obstacle is they'll have to be able to get past the Colonnade without the Zhodani catching them, at about the time the FFW is kicking off. Not a lot of places to cross the Idella Rift, which sort of makes it an obvious place for the Zhodani to wait in ambush, if they figure out the DNR is coming. Hard to keep the mission secret while also appearing as heroes in the news with Tisnee Zazzle: the galaxy is big, but people everywhere like to hear stories about the Glorious Empire taking it on the nose, especially if Zazzle is somehow connected. This is going to take a long time to play out. But the journey is the destination.
