dude, if you've seen Road House, Next of Kin, Point Break, or Red Dawn, and not come away with an appreciation of Patrick Swaze, you need to check into a hospital.

No option for keep metals, doh...I wanted to vote to see the results of the poll too...

Personally I am a big fan of the metal mini's, I just like the 'heft' of a good solid pewter mini and this is one of the main reasons I left GW. 40 or 50$ for a plastic box set was getting rediculous.

One thing I agree with however is the bases on the heavier kits need some definite improvement. that poseidon super carrier is a beast to suspend on the plastic stand it comes with...perhaps another option to replace plastic stands with metals in the poll as well? :)
 
Plastic fighters would be excellent.

Bigger ships in plastic could be nice, but the cost could be prohibitive. The only option I could see to help would be to make larger sprues with multiple ships on them and chop them up for various boxes.
