Pirates of Drinax & The Ancients Campaign

Hi all,

I have been looking at the idea of integrating the Ancients campaign into Pirates of Drinax. My main question is about whether anybody else has done this, and where in the Trojan Reach they set most of the Ancients campaign?

Andor remains Andor & Braudel remains Braudel, as with a Jump-6 ship they are easily reachable from anywhere in the Trojan Reach!
However where to put everywhere else, particularly everything in the Secrets part of the campaign, as going to Regina subsector from Drinax would take years. I was thinking Akhwohkyal instead of Zoe, and put Twighlight's Peak on Iroioah. Imisaa could be Pixie, New for Alell etc.

I was wondering where to put Becks World, Caledonia, and Research Station Gamma?

All help welcome. Trying to keep most of it in the Trojan Reach!
 
In the last 300,000 years they never figured it out? Isn't each of the "Sons" and "Grandsons" supposed to have gone their own way technologically? Couldn't 7 have developed it just for Vlen or other such agents in 300,000 years?
 
I must admit that I am probably going to use jump drive improvements as rewards for my players. They already have the Harrier so upgrading it's engines makes more sense than giving them a very small and noticable ship, well at least once it lands!

That is correct. According to Marc Miller Jump, Hop, Skip, and Fusion+ are technologies that are not inevitable or sequential. It is entirely possible for a culture to invent Jump drive, but not Hop. It is also possible to invent Hop without ever having Jump drive according to the Traveller rules.

Grandfather and his sons didn't bother with jump drive. That was for their servants.
