It used to bug me when people put silver Paint Chips on space marine tanks for 40k, according to the fluff they are made of an advanced ceramic not metal!

Well bummer, here it says it's advanced ceramics, and there you have reinforced adamantium hulls... GW ain't really keen on keeping their fluff consistent. I'll stay with the adamantium/other metal camp, and in that case you can't really do anything about chipping paint (other than the Tech-Priest reciting The Blessed Canticle Of Divine Paint Coverage)

It makes me laugh when they paint rust on em in White Dwarf LMAO!

They have Scratch resistant paint now, surely they would have Bullet Proof paint in the future PMSL!

Space Marine Armour is made from ceramite, and the Vehicles are made from the same material.

It is cast in the Colours of the Chapter, so would chip 'clean' if you would. It requires little or no maintenance and is impervious to adverse weather conditions.

Imperial Guard tanks however, are made from conventional materials.

Wow, I WILL repaint the forth though. I dont like the cheap Japanese toy look to them. I will mech-warrior, dirtify them. Otherwise, brillig boyo.

Wow, that white Forth is lovely! The BF;Evo tanks are nice (though if I get any I'm adding weathering and dirt for sure). The pre paints still impress me no matter how much I dislike the idea.

Yep, I'm waiting for prepaints before I get bugs , oh and the forth minis look good. Judging from the warrior pics, I can paint up the 20 I have to blend in with the prepainted ones well.

The tanks look nice, but where are the infantry? I need some foot slogging troop pics :lol:

The forth are a fictional mechanical race for SST.

Also, they are better than most action figures that are good, wizards and wizkids prepaints, not to mention the Rackham AT-something miniatures.

I think Mongoose is gaining strength....

the MI and bugs-look good. the forth-the wihite one is absolutely great(even if it does look like the good old 'Rex :wink: )..the blue one looks to toy-like in this paintscheme
