one-page character sheet

Just spotted something - the weapon weights don't seem to be auto-calculating into total load.

The total weight in not being updated with weapon weights. Armor, shield, and general equipment are though.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

WEAPON weights. Drats, I missed that one. Look for update in a couple hours, same rev number.

EDIT: That was a quick fix. The missing weights have all been added in, and I've posted it back on my site. Use any of the forms links in this thread.

Nice job on this Elfman. Is there anyway I can clear the numbers from the form, in order to run off copies for my party. Last night I used white out and thought I hit them all but missed all the skills, Drats. Excellent job, since my group is new pencil and paper is working best so they understand, but for me GM ing the calculations are sweet.

Another thing I may of been doing wrong is I was working on a character for a while and saved it as a different name, but when I went back in all defaulted to 10, Is that my error or just a limitation.

Either way it looks great and I appreciate the effort.

He has 2 versions up, one blank and one w/ forms.

I have trouble getting to his site sometimes so I've mirrored the the sheets. I currently do not have a copy of the revised form fillable sheet up on my site as I cant access the Elfman site this morning.

Just follow the link in my sig.

Elfman,

Just spotted one more problem (sorry!) - the shield bonus isn't adding into the "Parry" total. It does add into the "Dodge (ranged)" total correctly.

Is it possible to automatically put the value you type into the "Shield Bonus" box (in the "Shield" section) into the "Shield" boxes for "Dodge/Parry"?

A few more little things...

The HP,FP, and XP boxes wont take a number.
The lift over head box will only take up to a 9 diget number.
The damage box in the weapons, 2 of them will take 4 characters 2 will take 5 characters (ie 1D8+ or 1D8+2)
A BAB of 6 does not update the 2nd attack of the melee line. It does for Finesse and Ranged.

Great sheet though.

Fixed. Good catch.

Yes it's possible. And in fact I did it just now. :p An update to version 1.5 is available now, see below.

Yes they do. I just checked. In fact it requires you to type a number, you can't write in "forty-two" in the HP box, for example, you'd have to write "42".

And this is a problem? What character are you creating?

Seriously though, it will take a number larger than 9 digits, it just won't display more than 7 or 8 in the box.

I checked this, and all 4 boxes will take more than 5 characters. They will take at least 20, but you really can't read it well when you put more than about 12 characters in.

Yes, this is one of the problems Fatlad mentioned. I just fixed it.

Thanks!

I have done a BUG-FIX update to version 1.5 of the sheet, and it's up on my site right now. Download it using any of the above links. Obviously, the bug-fix doesn't apply to the non-forms version, which doesn't have imbedded formulas.

Elfman,

I think you've done it - the perfect character sheet. I've just made eight NPC's without a single hitch.

Thanks again.

Blaa...9=2 I hammer in 300 and it shows 30

And Reputation is the only one of the 4 boxes that I can get a number in. I'll just hand write in HP,FP,and XPS.

Thrack, what version of Adobe Acrobat are you using?

I can definitely put in HP, Xp's and Fate points, and the carrying capacity doesn't always look right as you are putting it in, but prints out fine. i'm using AA 5.0.

That maybe it...AA4.0 and AR6.0

edit: ok my problem is on my end. The sheet worked when i opened it with the new reader.

Thanks for a great tool.

Elfman,

I don't know if you are still supporting the sheets, but if you are I've a couple more suggestions to make. My group and I have been using your sheets a lot and love them. However, is there any chance of adding brackets for the perform skill (as with craft and knowledge)? Also, although reputation does change, we have found that the reputation box is a bit of a waste of space. How about swapping it with the power points section?

Cheers.

I am still supporting the sheet, but in more of a maintenance mode now. :)

I'll probably not add brackets to perform since it doesn't specifically need them (ie you can have un-specialized perform skill).

Also, there's a reasonably good chance I'll be making a "scholar" one-page sheet when Scrolls of Skelos comes out, so look for the scholar-based changes there, including possibly the swapping of PP and reputation. Just please don't bug me about this the moment SoS comes out, give me at least a couple weeks to read the book and play with rules. I'm not a publishing company or character sheet design factory. :p

Share and Enjoy!

Thanks for the reply Elfman.

Don't worry, I won't bug you. I'm looking forward to Scrolls of Skelos even more now!
