Where is the bridge located on either vessel? I want to paint a "window" from which the captain can see whats in front of the vessel but where should it go?
fussellg said:like most modern ships today we have windows on the bridge, so why wouldn't they in a couple hundred years? on the omega i dought that there are any windows on the ship. On the Warlock i would guess that it would be on the upper most portion of the ship. however, just like our ships are today the commanding officer would never be on the bridge during a fight, he would instead be buried deep within the hull in the Combat information center or CIC.

GhostRecon said:The Omega's bridge is in the centerline of the ship, in the rotating section where it has gravity

Yes, it doubled as docking control for the bays above it, but that's got to be pretty vulnerable...

Goldritter said:One explanation for this is, that Babylon 5 was not a military Station from its beginning.
It is a Diplomatic and Civil Station. And it was cheaper to build the C&C Center in front. And docking of the shuttles is easier to handle if the Crew can see them.
