Well, I'm intrigued a little by the Essentials line - but RuneQuest II has a lot more flexibility and...weight to it I guess. It also has the Elric setting, which I'm busilly getting into now also.
Incidentally, you can pick up a copy of the Monster Coliseum at Wellington - they have a copy at the wargames shop.
My own gaming preferences gravitate around RuneQuest, and other BRP related games (like Call of Cthulhu), as well as Traveller. So if you want to make up a group, leave a message in the shop I guess.

We have a very, very fast turnaround, even for New Zealand/Australia - yours was about the longest it takes (we can get it down to a week).

I bought Monster C a while back from Amazon, i am in two groups at mo, one playing Traveller (Mongoose) and Runequest 2.
The resources (online / tools) for D & D 4.0 are amazing but i cannot get over that D & D is basically a tactical wargame (which is fine if that is what you want) - do not like levels or hit points or the rigidity.
Any game when yuo can fall 100 feet and survive is naff..
Like BRP but not Coc ruleset as disconnect between attributes and skill %
Are you on NZrag site?
Yes, they're on DriveThru.glutgrim said:Is there a pdf version of the core Runequest rules out there for sale/download? The other books? Thanks...
