You can choose a Noble Family Grimoire skill in Jrustelan/Seshnelan Ducal Noble backgrounds. Now that I've read Cults of Glorantha, I've been wondering about a couple of things.
How should the grimoire be treated? As some study some ancestor wrote about the Abiding Book? Or Zzabur's Book, in case the grimoire pre-dates Time itself?
Should I treat the noble family itself as an order, or something?
The history of the family grimoire could give some nice background material for the character. Maybe it has some forbidden spells etc. Necromancy and such, and therefore is a family secret.
