no Traveller for me...yet

Today I got reply to status check on my pre-order. Shop had pre-ordered books and now got reply they wouldn't be getting any books for now. So join the club. I have NO idea when I'll be getting traveller books

Maybe they should change distributor. I recall ACTA V2 rules had similar problems in that they came *late* compred to when English folk got it.
Ah well. Back to drooling over messages here regarding book I won't be picking up for quite a while

I ordered mine from FRPGames.com and already got mine. I love it. Too bad it has no rules for the destruction of inanimate objects, aka that ugly statue of the mayor in the town square has to go, it offends me, but then so does the ugly mayor.

Anyone pre-order from Amazon? I did. Still no book. Amazon doesn't even show an estimated ship date for it...

Preordering in the hopes of getting the book early and then having no news of your order (while the rest of the world is able to buy the book from their FLGS's) can be quite annoying actually. :evil:

Yep... Amazon.ca still has no shipping date either (not sure if you went .ca or .com)
Ahh well and here am I getting ready to fly to england (but, of course, they're sending me no where near Swindon, nor am I liable to get any leave whilst I'm there.)

Dang. Atleast now I don't feel as bad about not getting my copy yet.
For all you fellow Amazon preorder people, an amazon rep told me that copies of Spinward Marches and Traveller Main Book are going to arrive at their warehouse in the same shipment (granted she might have told me that just to have a satisfied customer). Considering that as of Mongoose Matt's May 4th blog entry Spinward Marches hasn't even gone to print, I'm not expecting my copies anytime this month.

That way you can pick up a Traveller based souvenier of Merry Olde Englande.
We ship to London middle of May (assuming the Herc holds up o'er the Atlantic) and from there its fun on the ground and thence to Scotland for the excercise. Happily I just have to ensure the lads and lasses are ready to go, and they don't call me "Fuss Ass" for nothing ! Can't swing leave this go round (but at least I don't have to swill american beer this time... Mind they've gotten better the past few years if you avoid the big brewers)
