No Starship Design Rules???

Just looked through my copy of the new edition of Traveller and there are no starship design rules.
I know there will be some in the new High Guard book but couldn't they have at least had some basic starship design rules the core book?

Nope. They were completely removed from this edition. You weren't the only one who's asked that question...
