New Forum?

So the look of the forum has changed (for me at least) from this morning. Now I'm seeing weird web errors pop up, like "Warning: ob_start() [ref.outcontrol]: output handler 'ob_gzhandler' conflicts with 'zlib output compression' in /home/mongoose/phpBB2/includes/page_header.php on line 44"

Is anyone else noticing a change, or errors loading?

Got an error at the top of the page on the forum myself. But it still works.

Matthew Sprange mentioned that the forum would be improved somehow after his
return from GenCon, so what we see is probably that work in progress.

Spiffy new look, not a shocker change (double plus good).

As for errors, none here yet, running an antique Win XP system and older Firefox (3.6 avoiding updates for a while, paranoid, it's working fine so why 'fix' what ain't broke ).

I just got them now myself, when I didnt earlier today (I literally was lurking when the change happened, I refreshed and the forum wasnt biege anymore! :lol: )

Firefox 3.6.17 here. Error wasn't showing up earlier was but gone now.

I thought it was a problem with Chrome. Font is smaller, different and MUCH harder to read.

^ Agreed. I'm getting headaches and eye-strain coming here now. Also I dont use Chrome. No errors now though.

I have too but, what's the point in making it worse?

One could use the browser to increase the size of the font, not the best solution but if it is causing you problems might be worth it.

Yeah, tinier font, VERY plain forums... though front page is neater.

I thought it was odd that it would go live during the middle of the day... but then again I'm in the US... so somebody's timezone woulda got pinched no matter what.

Naw, don't want to be switching constantly. If it gets too annoying I'll just stop visiting. I have 20/10 vision. So, if it is a problem for, they REALLY screwed up.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about the switching back and forth.
