New books to come?

I can almost see a legal enforcer Minbari hunter...perhaps even religious caste who hires himself out to legitimate groups and works strictly within the laws of a given area. Might make for an interesting twist on the usual bounty hunter image.

Back on topic: did we get any new info, or just stuff on the schedule already? Have we speculated on what new books would be cool lately?

I would love to see a book on the teep war. The one other book that I really want to see is thirdspace. It always seems to be B5 meets Cthulhu

Which leads into the idea for Cthulhutech/B5 that is lurking around my backbrain. Would make for a heck of a Mimbari war, wouldn't it?

Yeah, the novelization of Thirdspace made the Lovecraft/B5 connection very explicit, right down to the monsters making the same noises as a well known Lovecraftian monster. Since Call of Cthulhu is my favorite game and Lovecraft my favorite author, I'm looking forward to the Thirdspace book eagerly.

And you are not the only one :)

I remember at one of the Blackpool Wolf359 conventions JMS showed us some scenes from Thirdspace (before all the SFX was added, but still very spooky) and said then this was his homage to the Cthulhu Mythos

It's a pity that the book has been pushed back so much, but if it is as good as Bry's other work it will be well worth the wait :D

I started writing a RPG scenario based on the Vorlons being related to Great Cthulhu and the Shadows to another Great Old One.......

The Third Space movie was wonderfully Lovecraftian in the concept of the Third Space Aliens - in some ways it was a pity they used space ships - or perhaps that is how everyone visualised the extrusions in or dimension.............

hmm some more twists to my Darkness Rising setting I feel..............

:)
