A long time ago I bought 6 Havens and than found I had previously bought six and forgot. So then I put everything on a spreadsheet.

No of ships trust me, you don't really want to know and any way my real plan is too melt them all down and build a 1 to 1 scale Omega.

hmm might need a few more mnis for that. Good excuse though to tell the missus.

Probably, but the beauty of living on the Prairies is the ability to put a brick on the gas, a clothes-hanger on the steering wheel and then sleep while the car drives itself (ok true story, I had a bush pilot flying a Dash-8 do this exact thing once).

I don't feel as bad (like I ever did in the first place :lol: ) about my compulsive ship buying after reading some of those lists. I've only got 20 armmageddon (pre P&P) points spread across 5 fleets. And thats counting 3 ancients.

One Armadgeddon point of Vorchans is only 8. I have 14 (8 Fleet scale and 6 big scale) Really I'd expect to see 8 in any Centauri players collection.

On the other hand three Adiras is impressive! I don't even have one of them. They are still on my to buy list.

They are skirmish-level ships, thus an Arm is *16* of them, not 8. I have 20 (I would have had 24, but a friend wanted some Centauri so I traded him a batch for a 1500pt painted force of American Airborne for FoW).

1 - skirmish
2 - raid
4 - battle
8 - war
16 - armageddon

(using the old FAP system anyway)

I said it was the old mechanic . Going by the new mechanic I have 2+ Arm in Vorchans. I haven't played a game under the new FAP yet. Besides, using the new FAP means *all* my fleet numbers will go up .

Besides, not everyone has P&P I have found.

That's why I wish I had actually counted up the number of ships I have. Depending upon which FAP breakdown you are using it can have a big impact on the number of FAPs you have. With the base 2nd edition you have fewer FAP with lots of lower PL ships, but in P&P you have more if you have lots of lower PL ships.

I'll say this my counts are based off the P&P FAP breakdown. I probably have 1 to 3 less points in each fleet using the base 2nd edition FAP break downs.

Either way 12 is a lot of Vorchans!

It is indeed, and I rarely use the Demos variant due to people not liking its previous incarnation. The most I've used in a single game I think is 8 except for one mega-battle.

Before the trade for the FoW stuff I had multiples of 3 in everything, i.e. 24 Vorchans, 9 Primus, etc. (I wanted 6 Octurions, but only have 3 now). This was based on the Ancient Centauri drinking song, "One Brivari, Two Brivari, Three Brivari, Floor!" ;-). Knowing my penchant for order I may have to re-establish that :lol:

Vorlons - Heavy Cruiser, Scout, Destroyer,

You and me both. I have every fleet but Tau at 2000+ pts (only have maybe 300pts of them), but the only ones I have assembled and painted are Imperials, Necrons, Space Marines, Orks & 'Nids (and the Orks came painted from a friend). Still have to do Eldar, Craftworld Eldar, Dark Eldar, some more Orks, a few more Marines (grey knights) and a butt-load of Chaos.

Indeed and this is why if I post the fleets I have that they will be listed using the most "efficient" breakdowns (i.e. the lowest number of FAPs possible given the ship list).

I used my fleet designer, just plug in your ships and it does the maths for you.

For variants I used the "standard" version, ie. Neshatan not Veshatan, Tinashi not Ashinta, Omega not command omega.

I tried using your fleet designer but it kept flaking out around 15 to 20 ships. It would just lock up and not respond. So I went back to pencil and paper.
