So, I thought lets have a little fun bragging (i.e. showing how sick we are) before it ends. I did some inventoring of my fleets so that I knew what stuff I wanted to buy before the ships become very difficult to obtain. I inventoried them by Race so I don't have an exact ship count at this time. As there is overlap between ships in some fleets and I'm counting some ships as proxies for others, like the Civilian Liner as a Psi-Corp Mothership, it'd be a while before I figure it out exactly. I only counted ships as their base model and not varients so my 6 Tethys were only counted once, not once for each varient. In the end I came up with some crazy numbers.
Including the the two combined lists, LoNaW and Army of Light, I can field 104+ Armageddon FAPs. Discounting the 18+ points of LoNaW and AoL as they are all counted else where, that brings it down to 86+ Armageddon FAPs, but when discounting all the ships that are counted multiple times in different fleets its probably around 70 actual Armageddon FAPs of ships.
Here is what I can field from each of the following at Armageddon, maybe not all at the same time mind you. I could never field all the points of EA Third Age against EA Crusade for example as they share too many ships. In almost all cases I can account for at least one ship of each type. Some like Drazi and Vree, haven't got enough, but they are some that will be getting rounded out a little more before they are gone for good.
I went nuts on buying ships over the last year and a half. I still plan on getting about 20 or so more ships to round out some fleets, and I mayby pick up a 2nd Ed fleet box of Drakh before the end. I can live without the other fleets that aren't represented as I really don't like the looks of any of their ships! If I had to take a stab at it right now, I'd say around 500 ships and a truely sick number of fighters. I don't even want to guess how many fighters there are! So lay it on the line, how many other people are this sick?! :shock:
Remember these are counted as Armageddon FAPs. The pluses are there because they all have less than one full Armageddon FAP of ships remaining.
