You can cheat with the bluing of the engines (or at least I did). Paint them white to start with then heavily water down some pale blue paint. Holding the model vertical so gravity helps, just apply the paint mix into the engine cowlings. Gravity will cause most of the paint to pool toward the base of the engines, leaving a gradiated residue on the side.

:lol: Pretty much exactly what I did, but in reverse...I painted them a light blue and then added a bit of water-ed down white to the whole interior of the bell...the white settles in the middle when you hold it vertically...
