Straight Wall Sections
6" tall from the outside (7" from the inside) by 12" long, by .75" thick
Material is supposed to be reinforced concrete
Doors are steel
Corner Sections
6" tall from the outside (7" from the inside) by 6" long (each wall), by .75" thick the towers stand at least 8" tall.
Towers are made of prefab metal plates
Total Fortress
8 Straight Wall Sections (2 of which have doors)
4 Corner Sections
Alright, here's how I see this:
Since the main walls are a bit long according to the rules (10" length for Wall Sections), I would state to anyone playing that they consider 2" of each center wall belongs to a Wall Section at each corner. This "shortens" the 12" segments to 10", making them within legal dimensions without modification to the model (which is not needed). The corner pieces would be considered as made up of two 8" Wall Sections, (6" actual plus 2" borrowed from adjacent wall section). I ignore the doors, which when closed just become a standard Wall Section. Thus, the fort perimeter can be described as 16 Wall Sections. I'm not worried about the 7" wall height from inside, but if the Arachnid player wants to argue that it's harder to retreat once inside the fort (nifty trap there, CmdrKiley  ), then you could always offer to open the doors for him once all his forces get inside  . Anyway, the towers would be Platforms that are attached to the walls. So this should be simply stated as 16 Wall Sections at 30 points= 480, with an additional 4 Platforms at 50 points= 200. Thus, I see 680 points sitting on your table. Inside structures could be defined as bunkers at 100 points each, depending on if they meet the proper dimensions. Any other ideas/suggestions, gentlemen?

OK, I'll be the first  . Someone might have a good argument that each corner should be made up of 2 Platforms, so you would have to add 200 more pts. Also, I haven't considered the main floor area in any calculations, so if you wanted an armored floor you would really ramp up the cost. Although they don't specifically say all the dimensions, I'll assume a Platform is limited to 10" on each side, so... 16 more Platforms??? (bah, leave it as dirt, heh).
All calculations above are from MI Army Book.
