Looking good Mr. Evil! Mass production or not, it is still well painted, and cOwgummi is right; the wasp look is kind of creepy.

ok tonight weather has prevented me undercoating figs, and ive still got a box worth of ripplers and a overlord to build !!!!

but this is the progres ive done on my first overlord, learning lessons on this one to do the second one better i hope lol

WEll, judging from your speed at doing the last army, I would not say a machine. Maybe a tiny bit bionic, or slightly mechanical, or borderline digital in some regard....

Mr Evil, they are looking good. Maybe one thing and that might be using silver metallic on the wings? Can you put a wash over that and make it a bit less metal-looking? Not trying to nit-pick, but I felt you wanted feedback, right? Lookin good, though. They'll make a nice army to swat at :wink: .

I'd recommend putting the Overseers on a wider base. Until I put mine on a CD, it would tip over if you looked at it funny - always with wings and/or legs popping off and having to be re-assembled. :x

yeah i quite like the blue silver for the wings on the little guys i think the problem is more on the big bugs, may have to find replacment wings maybe ?

I think if you paint the rib on the wings the same color as the body it will look fine.

I agree with the Sarge on this. The rib is just too massive on the Overseer for it too just look like it is part of the film of the wing. Something more solid would like more fitting.

Yeah, my comment was more on the Overseer than the Ripplers. Photos also sometimes change the actual looks of what a model looks like in person, too.
