This is always going be a subjective issue, but I thought I'd kick it off anyway...

My least favourite piece of artwork in the book is the Manticore - really don't like that style at all (again, just me!)

On the other hand, the dragon....OH MY GOD!!!!! :shock: It is absolutely awesome!!!!

Cool karrg beetle picture but stained by a pig-troll. Horrible pig-cave troll Gruesome pig-dark troll. Very poor quality dragonewt pictures. Ridiculous duck picture, but not the right kind of ridicolous! Okay tolkien-elves picture, but would have preferred the variant from the gloranta book. Newtling looks like some horror from the swamp. Conan the scorpionman looks to be out of proportions. Stinking snow troll picture. Ghoulish trollkin. Tusk Riders too human-like. A black elf with leaves, no head and funguses growing all over?

Overall, the artwork is not really that bad when compared to the overall artwork of previous RQ publications. However, some of the creatures have been changed so radically that I can not recognize them from the picture alone. And that kinda ruins it.

Especially the pig-troll!!!
