I got my first Nolo'Tar today, I'd have loved to have seen ana lternate paint job for that, I think the khaki/camo scheme doesn't suit it looking at the lines.

I have a couple of Liandras on order that I plan to proxy as Nolo Tars (the official models are just too big for a Skirimish PL ship). I am thinking of painting in Minbari stripy blue. I will post some pics when I get them done so people can see if they like the look.lastbesthope said:

I agree Karhedron, the Nolo'Tar is actually a nice mini, though I think the paint job Mongoose has given it doesn't suit it as much as a Minbari blue or WS job would.
I think I'll use Liandras to proxy as Nolo'Tars as well, or maybe not I don't know, depends on how much money I have.

Now back to figuring out what ships to buy to round out my fleets, expenses may cause Crusade EA to be left with what they have for now.

With only a base coat, shade and very brief highlight, you can get an 8-10 ship fleet (with 8-10 fighter flights) assembled in about 3 hours (full cleaning, drilling, pinning), and painted in a further 2.
And that's without any "speed" techniques - I've done this on several fleets. (it's the assembly of the fighters that takes by far the most time for any fleet with more than a couple of flights).
