Minis for fighter flights

A few questions for those of you that use miniatures for your fighter flights: what scale do you use? How many models per stand? What manufacturer? I notice Nav War has some nice planes, but getting Nav War minis to the United States is a bit rough.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I just use one tumbling dice 1/600 figure to represent a fight. I beieve GHQ do 1/2400 if you want to get closer to scale. 4 per flight is standard, i believe.

The CAP Aero 1:1250 aircraft are small enough not to require a great deal of detail painting but still large enough to be recognizable, especially mounted in multiples. In the States, you can get them from Scale Model Specialties (www.ss-sms.com) and Morning Sunshine (www.collectibleships.com) and probably any number of other places as well.
