MGT GM/Player aids elist

Hi Everyone!

I appreciate all the interest in my GM screen and character sheet. Since I also have demo characters and such, I've decided to create a place where people can just go and get them. Anyone else with an aid or pre-gen character or even module conversion (not the entire module) can upload it into the files section. Members can also discuss all these items, making suggestions and help guiding improvements.

You can sign up directly via email or at the group homepage.

You are most welcome.

I just checked the webpage for the list and found out that 20 people have signed on since I made the announcement.

To everyone, welcome aboard!

AND...

I just uploaded the PDFs of my Pre-Gen characters. There is 10 in all. The file names are "Career-Specialty" and all stayed in the same specialty except one that did 2 terms in Black-Ops.

In the Equipment section, the items on the bottom right hand side are from their tours of service when they mustered out (like Rank, Total terms-of-service, TAS Membership, etc.). On the upper left side of the Equipment is what they've gotten at mustering out. Any weapons received at mustering out are also listed in the Weapons section.

I didn't create a more fleshed out background in order to let the players have some fun making up a background before we started.

Enjoy,
Al B.

YVW.

I'm also taking suggestions for any of the stuff I've made, like what to put on the back side of my character sheet, and things we can add to the GM screen without violating copyright.

I think anything in the Traveller developers pack/SRD is fair use...

You may want to add some copyright info on the frontpage of the group, etc... maybe the old "fair use" policy until the new one comes out ;)

Yep... Right there on the front page I've got "Traveller is the (c) of Mongoose Publishing and Marc Miller/Far-Future Enterprises.

The official Mongoose forums are at http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/forum"

I appreciate all the questions and suggestions etc that people are sending my way.

If everyone could, instead of emailing me directly with questions requests for help etc. join the MGT-Aids elist and We'll be happy to help.

Thanks.

I would love to see a trade cheat sheet. With all the charts you need for trade including the planet ones all together. It took us all most half an hour to do speculative trading last session and we needed to have a tonne of different pages all open at the same time.

I must confess for me part of the motivation of getting the PDF version of Traveller as well as the dead tree version was that it would make it slightly easier to lift bits from the book for my own reference tables. I can let the players use the dead tree version while I have a comb bond copy for me and as many cheat sheets as I can manage, laminated of course if I can work out how to use the laminator!

I tried joining, using my MSN address; either it doesn't recognize me or I haven't recognized how to sign in. What should I do?

how did you try to sign up? If you use the groups page to join, you have to have a Yahoo! ID

If you tried signing up by sending an email to MGT-Aids-subscribe@yahoogroups.com then you should have gotten a confirmation email that you must reply to before it's complete.

If you aren't getting the confirmation email, double check your trash/spam folder.

If you need to, email me at MGT-Aids-owner@yahoogroups.com and I'll give you an invite.
