Elist for consoldiating player/fan made aids

Hi Everyone.

Since Sept 2008 I've owned and run the Mongoose Traveller Aids list on Yahoo (MGT-Aids@yahoogroups.com). It has been very successful as a place where people can submit just about anything, search for anything, and discuss what is available.

Well, seeing as I have ordered my first ACTA:SF fleets/rules I thought having a similar place to find all the great stuff created by fans and talked about here.

So I have created MGP-Minis-Aids@yahoogroups.com (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/MGP-Minis-Aids), It has a file area for ACTA:SF, ACTA:NA, and Judge Dread.

As we learned on MGT-Aids, we have to request you "apply" to get in - but this just means a simple "I love ACTA:NA wish to share stuff I made" and bam you're in. It is unfortunately necessary yet highly effective. You can go to the group web page or email direct at MGP-Minis-Aids-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

I prefer everything be uploaded by the creator instead of me, so the file is associated with their yahoogroup handle for copyright purposes (I'm trying to protect your ownership of your work).

Please, nothing violating MGP's or anyone else's copyright.

Because of spammers, and with a general consensus, you have to 'apply' to join the list. It's easy, just say something about why you want on the list and BAM! you're approved (requests are the list owner sees them in their email). Say nothing, or say something that sounds like a spammer you're RE-JECTED! We're a really nice fun group of gamers and we just want to keep the spammers OUT.

The Owner is the only person managing the list, approving memberships and does them as soon as they see the notice in their email... please there is no "2 day wait before complaining you didn't get approved yet". I try to do it at least once a week. Normally sooner than that. Thank you

Welcome to the camp, yes you all know why your here. You love your minis buying more every year. So if you want to game with us we've minis there for all. (bad rip off of "welcome to the camp" in the rock-opera 'Tommy').
