I noticed that the second release for Traveller, Mercenary, is to be hardback. Surely as a suplement it would be more cost effective (and lighter) to produce it as a softback book. Consider that there may well be a whole slew of supplements you want to take to a gaming session, imagine the weight! Worse than D&D. It may also be helpful to steer clear of hardbacks to avoid the warping problem which seems all too common at the moment.
I assume heavier hardbacks are more expensive to ship as you get a lower number of units per ton. So why bother with hardbacks?
