Result is well worth it, though. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd appreciate a close up... please... :P

Here are some close-ups of the Omega-X. Upon closer inspection I'll need to touch up some areas - the camera sees all! I also need to name it / find an appropriate name decal.

As for backwards fins on the Primus - I never would have noticed. Actually I usually pump those things with so much damage they just get blown off anyway

I really like the Shadow Omega paintwork Prelude. Even up that close it looks fantastic. I think I will borrow the idea if I ever buy any more shadows, my paint scheme is too subtle for them I think.

I have looked at a few other pics BTW and I PREFER my Primus fins on backwards, it was a mistake but now I see what it is supposed to look like I am glad I made it!

Apachex, you've got some nice ships there, and plenty of them! Respect for being able to paint those darned teeny fighters so well, I gave up and used the much bigger old AOG fighters.

Ok i will bring this threat alive :D

My Brakiri Fleet, not very heavy images but quite a lot beware:

Aviokis
Actually 2 of the 3 i have

Brokados

Tashkat
This is a very ugly sculpt by the way, the only thing AOG did bad for the Brakiri

And Finally my growing EA force:

Everything is freehanded, is the little pleasure i give myself, as i paint the rest of the ship quite fast. The full fleet will be named: The Shield of Heracles, and all the ships will be named after the mythological creatures/gods depicted in it, plus Ares, Mars and Venus:

Ares (God of War, father of Phobos and Deimos)
Mars (Ares in Roman mythology)
Venus (Aphrodite in Roman mythology, mother of Phobos and Deimos)

Enyo (Horror)
Phobos (Fright)
Deimos (Panic)
Proioxis (Pursuit)
Palioxis (Flight)
Homados (Tumult)
Androktasie (Slaughter)
Eris (Strife)
Kydoimos (Uproar)
Ker (Fate)

Hyperions
Phobos and Deimos (Fright and Panic)

Omega
Will be renamed to Mars very soon

Easily the finest early EA paint jobs I have ever seen, quite superb.

I have a few Hyperions and made a mess of them. After one Omega I gave the other one away.

Glad to see someone else using the "Big" fighter models.

Really well done, superb models, lovely pics (what camera/lens do you use?)

Great pics - the quality of your photos is very nice. Really makes the Brakiri stand out. The numbers are also nice - are those decals?

Thank you very much, no they are all freehand, it gets simpler after the first few

@Captain Kremmen: Thank you, actually ive seen it, didnt had time to answer though, a lot of picture taking

@Bubba Ho-Tep: Thanks, there will be Minbari soon. As soon as the order arrives (2 Tinashis, 1 Lesathan, 1 fighter flight), also more EA (2 Novas, 2 hermes and a lot more fighters)

the EA fightes will be having new freehand, including Psi-corps colors, orderes the big ones from aog

Absolutely stunning, I can't wait to see your Minbari. I am getting ready to paint my Minbari Fleet & Vorlon Fleet, but I dare say that my paint jobs will pale in camparrison.

thanks agains, ive been painting for a lot of years, i actually not the count, maybe 10 or 11.

the quality of the pics its a matter of practice, and a good set-up, I actually work as a freelance sculptor for some companies, have also done sime comissioned paiting/art so i had to take lots and lots of pictures. I Promise to do a step-by-step of the picture taking, editing (not much just equalize the colors)

my camera is a Acer Cs-5531

5 megapixels with a decent Macro, not the best but does the job quite well, you dont actually need more than 4 megapixels, for this kind of job

What would be great is if you could do a step-bystep for painting some of your minis. With the way you take pics, I dare say alot of folks here would love to see how you go about painting your models. Me being at the top of that list.

So do you do commission work?

Not for know, examns are coming my way at APtE  but after that, maybe october (couple of sculpt left in my table) i would be able to do some
