M2 Bradley stats

I certainly wouldn't charge T-55 with Bradley, but if one suddenly popped up in autocannon's effective range and the TOW launcher was empty..

An empty TOW launcher means you are dealing with something else already, so yeah, at this point I'd be firing everything I had, all the way down to rocks and harsh language, at a suddenly appearing T-55 which is closer.

Possibly... I think I saw this when they were talking about upgrading the Spectre's guns...

From what I understand the new AC-130 has
-1x 40mm Cannon
-1x 105 How.
-1x 25mm gatling gun

I can't wait for its card and mini :D

I'd assume you wouldn't want to actually use it though. From what I understand they would be pretty good at shredding everything and anything on the board, they're not exactly a surgical knife...maybe the AC-130 should have a 6' by 4' fire zone!

So a bit like the firezones of the B-52 and B-1 then :)

Or at tactical nuke!

Well now that's just being destructive for destruction sake. :)

Back to the original topic though, the M2/M3 stats. The ones I used came from people who were "in the know" about things. My suggestion would be that rather than worrying about the exact stats of a weapon to look at the whole package an see if that works or if it is imbalanced as a whole.

I kind of feel that the M2/M3 is still really cheap for what it is. Look at the Type 99, it's main gun is only d10+3, and it has a kill score of 11 (I'm only mentioning the better stats) and is 350pts.

The M2/M3, as you've suggested has a TOW (d10+2), a chain gun (3d6+1) and a MG, has a kill of score of 10 and is a transport to boot. I don't think that 250pts would be enough. If it is, then maybe the Type 99 is overpriced...but that is a topic for another thread.

Just a thought anyway. Keep up the good work Jellicoe!

remember it can only fire the TOW if it does nothing else for the entire turn

250pts maybe even 200pts is ok seeing as the warrior is only 150pts with a FAR bigger gun and 2 more models transport capacity :D

you realy dont wann be firing your main gun same time as you launch a TOW on a bradley from what ive been told there can be issues !!

If I run into the Calvary guys again, I'll ask them about that.

There may be tweaks to the card as it comes around, like TOW rules and so on.

nice

as a note as the mg isnt a crewed weapon ie its installed in the turret, is following the fashion of other such armoured units unable to react with that either, much like the pla apc.

basicly turret wepons arnt able to react unless a man is able to be poking out of the turret and operat it, it seems

*coughs* I know....I gotta resize some stuff and tuck an MG rule in there.

Good stuff. You really want to go for 7 rather than 2 TOWs. Reloading in the heat of battle might be a challenge
