Looking for Players

Domarg

Mongoose
Hello All,

Looking for anyone interested in playing some RQ system in Conan world, possible Middle Earth world. Let me know if interested.

Thanks.

In about 2 months (after our stints of 2320AD & Star wars) I'll be running a MRQ campaign set in a new world with gloranthan themes in Birmingham, UK (Kings Heath to be exact) if anyone's interested...

Heh. He's moved on you. He's about a 100 miles away from me now.

I find now that the internet brings us all closer together the physical 'real' world is really much too big. We are a creative, intelligent bunch - I think we should work on making the world a good bit smaller. It would be much easier to hook up for games if the Atlantic was a swimable size.

At last - a great, achievable idea! Why don't we pump it out into somewhere. Preferably not the UK, of course, as there's a lot of people in trouble, atm. :( And relatively close to Domarq, too, iirc. How about the Sahara? All we need do is burrow out a canal using a bunch of gnomes, then create a chain of undines to fill it from the Atlantic.

Who's going to cut stairs down the continental shelf?

The sahara is a great idea ('Antedesertium' anyone?). Considering that underneath the sands lie massiver river beds and deltas I think it would work quite well.

Sorry...... GA -> MA after posting noticed I didn't update my profile when I moved recently.

Anyone interested in RQ near Fairhaven, MA, about an hour south of Boston drop me a line

I'm all for a trans-atlantic meet one day (as a displaced Brit!)

Great - I'll work out a speedy Trans-Atlantic Desert transport system. I'm thinking some kind of catapult launch mag rail system powered by giant rubber bands.

maybe some dirigible system powered by ion charged particles in the atmosphere supplied by atmospheric pollutents. Global dimming at work for you!
Obviously travel from the US would be a lot quicker than from the EU as they are holding more fuel. (newsflash! Kyoto agreement restricts travel!)

Where are you, Thomson, MA?

Tyngsboro.

Err, I mean Sun County.

That's okay, I meant Townsend.

Not that I believe that anyplace in Massachusetts could even be referred to as "Sun Country". Frankly it is beyond the realm of optimism, and is grounds for revoking poetic license.

More like "Party Cloudy Country". That'S what happens when you wake up one morning to find your Sun god has snuck off an joined the Storm Gods pantheon behind your back. Must of been a shock to the Rune Priests. Wake up one morning to see "You've got Emal" written on the Temple Dome. :P
