Low Roller 1-1 said:Here we go a revised set of stats from the comments this afternoon - not sure on the points costs.
what do you guys think of the revisions?
I like them both, personally I would keep the target score at 6, these things are very tough (about as easy as it is to take down a helicopter or plane) to kill with rifles when on the move, yes that amazingly lucky shot can do it... but so rarely that as a game mechanic its not worth considering.
Looking at the pic provided of the TOW (support) version it doesn't look to me that it has any transport capability.... So I would suggest dropping that, and instead maybe allow the TOW to create a seperate firezone... The TOW is there to take out armour, whilst the MG is there to protect the vehicle whilst the TOW is doing its thang... Also if these things are restricted to "elite" forces then this also reflects the greater skill and training these guys have.
As for points score... they should be free to EFTF  or seriously 60 and 80 sounds fine.
Just one comment about availability, yes they are currently available to everyone in the British forces, but there is a move away from this, they are going to be replaced with APCs in the near future, as our goverement doesn't want to be seen to be risking our guys in unarmoured vehicles. I am sure the special forces will be keeping them due to their greater versatility and speed.
