Light Armor Infantry upgrades (12/06/2007)

I'm sure when mongoose put your gun in a rulebook they will get an artist to draw a nicer version.

New from Tibericorp Industries, the PRISM light rifle takes the firepower once enjoyed by the Bugbroom and Scythe laser cannons and packs it into a light-weight frame that even Invasion Company troopers can handle. While not as strong as it's larger cousins, the PR-201-a still packs enough of a punch to put down even the most tenacious Warrior bug.

Okay cats and kittens, let me know how those stats fly.

Enough firepower to hurt anything on the battlefield, high RoF, and costs pretty penny... Before playtests looks balanced to me.

That'd work. Concider it done!

MG / Machine Gun - To take full benefit of this weapon's Rate of Fire, the user needs to take a moment to get the weapon properly set up. After a Ready action, the Machinegun’s Rate of Fire gives it an additional +1 to damage rolls.

or make it 2xd6(the prismrilfe), but give it pierce 2?
i mean if i remeber right, lasers don't really do much damage, small hole in,small hole out.

Not to mention moe wording. i mean the mg rule, is that readying cumulative, and are these 1st edition rules? Or is it one ready a turn for a mchine guns bonus or you lose it if the next action is not fire?

Where are I now....

Oh yes. I'm going to make a rules sheet for the Black shirts, complete with their support list here in a few days, so keep your eyes open.
