Life support costs

The per person cost for life support - is that for people not occupying staterooms?

Or is it extra on top of the stateroom cost?

Do staterooms still cost when they're empty (like low berths don't)?

Similarly, do double staterooms cost 3,000 (double occupancy staterooms) + 2,000 (two inhabitants) per month?

My understanding (from CRB p.145) is that each stateroom costs Cr1000 per month, plus Cr1000 per person per month. So double occupancy costs Cr3000 per month.

That represents basic meals, though, so if crew want more than Spartan food then it'd be more.
