LBB1 Mercenary Questions/Confusion

Mongoose
The MagRail Minigun is listed as TL 15. The Mounted MagRail Minigun armor option is TL 14. The Mounted MagRail Minigun option also has another TL 14 listing...

Basically the question is what are the correct TLs for the Heavy MagRail Cannon Mounts? 15/16?

I would assume the book is (mostly) correct. A TL 14 version is available, but is too large to be carried by a person. That is why it needs to be mounted to artillery battledress. (page 93)

At TL 15, the magrail minigun has gotten small enough (through still rather large) to be carried and used by a person. (page 103).

The only problem I see would be the the advanced version of the artillery battledress mount version (page 93). It says "The TL14 version", but the normal mount is already TL 14. I would say the double mount version should be TL 15 (fitting 2 weapons in the same mount, also indicating that the weapon has been made smaller, just like the TL 15 man-portable version on page 103).

So that would be:
Magrail rifle - TL 13
Magrail carbine, pistol, single artillery battledress minigun mount (or vehicle mount)- TL 14
double artillery BD minigun mount, man-portable magrail minigun - TL 15

At least, that is probably how I would do it.

Edit: Central Supply Catalog has something different. The man-portable version is the same. The battledress mounted one, however, is bigger (doing 8d6+2 damage, though whatever autofire rating it has is left out) and is TL 15. Since its just a 3 barreled version of the standard weapon, I would say it still has an autofire rating of 12, just with more damage. Since CSC is more recent then Mercenary, I would say its version of the weapons were meant to replace the older stats.

Minor hijack here, but I also need a Mercenary book clarification.

In the Wartime Events for use during character creation. It is listed:
6
Camaraderie: You become very close to the other members of your unit and such fraternity is rewarded with unquestioning acceptance. If you choose to remain in the same career path and assignment for your next term, you do not need to roll for Qualification.
As far as I was aware, you never have to roll for Qualification when staying in the exact same career path, even when changing specialisation (unless a mishap advises you to obviously). Have I been doing people's careers horribly wrong this whole time, or should this read that you do not need to roll for Survival, or possibly for Advancement?

The part about being 'accepted unquestionably' could equally lean towards auto-advancement as much as auto-survival, but then if it is referring to advancement, why 'next term' and not this term (as the advancement part has not been done yet this term).
So far, I have been treating this as an automatic pass on their next Survival roll if they remain in the same career specialisation, but I'm curious if other people have a different take on this?
