Lankhmar

[The Warlord]

I see there's three versions of the Lankhmar supplement put out by TSR. any of you old school players have a clue as to which one's the best? The first two look to just be 1st ed and 2nd ed sourcebooks. The third looks to be a campaign world type box set.

So which one to get?

The contents of the 2nd printing was enhanced and the boxed set is excellent with a stunningly beautiful map of Nehwon and the City of Lankhmar and a great starting adventure. However there is a booklet with the rules of AD&D explained to beginners (that is up to the 3rd level).
So if you can afford both it is an excellent choice.

Let me say that the sourcebooks and adventures are also quite good and gives an excellent feeling of urban adventures.
