I was camping last weekend and witnessed brutal close combat.

A shrew jumped and slew a chipmunk then ran around my campsite holding his kill in his mouth. The chipmunk was half the size of the shrew so the shrew should be eating well for quite a while.

Watch out for the shrew.

Okay it was actually probably a ferret or weasel. But still, what a battle.
