Kettering Tournament, August 12th CANCELLED

I am planning a ACTA tournement for Sunday, 12th August 2007.

It will take place Boughton House, just outside of Kettering in Northamptonshire.

This will be using the first edition rules. Any official ships from S&P will be allowed (except the Troligan).

Registration 9.30ish
First game 10 am
I aim to be finished by 5pm.

Game 1: 5 point skirmish, Space Superiority (a maximum of 2 ships in hyperspace)
Game 2: 5 point raid, Assassination (maximum of 2 ships in hyperspace, each player will select an assassination target).
Game 3: 5 piont battle, A Call to Arms (no hyperspace).

Games will be played on tables with fixed terrain.

There will be a small charge, £5, to cover costs with excess going to the House charity.

Food: the tea rooms will be open for lunch.

The house and grounds are open if you want to bring along your partner, parents, kiddies.

I'm interested but will not be around for a while (I will be in and out of the UK from end of this week to until 20th July). I'm not sure how 12th August will look then but promise to get back to you! Life is a bit hectic at the moment but 1st edition you say? Sounds good to me...

(I quit work the Friday before so have no Monday commitments, although that does mean less money - I'll have to put together a fleet with my existing miniatures that I haven't used before in a tourney...)

It is still on, if everyone is happy to come to a tourney with only a handful of players.

You can have three entirely different fleets, if you wish. They are three independant games. Just keep to the same race.
