Thats English civilisation for you.
Its a mix of all languages, so Im sure it will take over a few languages. Not that it should of course, I think thats wrong, but hey, Europe created the Euro. Why not have a European language .

Im sure your english is actually better. Simply because we know it so well, we have slang terms for everything, for example, I seldom pronounce my 'T's unless its the start of a word.
I also find it real hard to read out loud.
Stuff you pick up from where you live.

Agreed! I was walking home one day and I couldn't figure out what the swedish for beggar was, though the english word I knew.

And I graduated with better grades in English than in Swedish.

My guess is that most swedes more or less grow up with english, and that's why we're so good at it.

2 of my strongeest subjects. I talk funny, but can write.
And tbh, art in school id more about the written work explaining the piece than the actual work, at least here it is. :?

art is like that here too, i went to artschool but i could never explain my paintings,, it's a wolf, running in a wood,, nothing else

I take english class from an Australian . Secretly I actually am the guy everyone in class would ask how to spell things , don't tell anyone though...

i hate colledge aswell !!! i realy could dow ith a course where i just use my memory, scrap that ! my memory sucks !!!

I hated every minute of secondary school, always showed up though. Worked out fine in the end. I'm a teacher now, I work with Autistic kids though, our education system is so messed up I've no desire to work in a mainstream school at all.
School's pretty good when you're a teacher, same holidays as before, but now you get paid. I think a lot of teachers forget that: look around you, out of the thirty people in the room, only one is getting paid to show up. So at least make it worth it for the ones who've got to come.
Not me though, three kids, six staff. Different world.

Except I still go to secondary school. And I hate my dang science teacher!!!! :lol: :lol: , bring up these kinds of things reminds me how much I don't like his guts...
