Isn't it a time for another sneak peek already?

Comon guys, this waiting is killing me!

Any pics of the new boxes the figs will come in for example?

Any pics of the special forces guys (SAS, force recon, muhadijeen, chinese, erm, dogeaters (or whatever the chinese have for special forces))

Gimme something, I'm starving here!

Hi guys,

As it happens, the final designs for the Challenger II and the Abrams have just arrived - expect to see piccies on Monday, along with some promo material that will reveal a lot more about the game.

Over the next month (or so), we should be in a position to show off the PLA WZ-551, Hilux Trucks, the Fedayeen, British Army Command Squad, Warrior and the USMC Shadow RST-V, as well as the complete basic rules, ready for download.

As it is, in the office we are just putting the final touches on the design of the Future Lynx, AH-1Z, Zulfiqar and EQ2050.

Exciting things coming. . .

Yey for new swag! Or pictures of new swag as it was... beggers cant be choosers...

*waits impatiently for Monday just so it will hurt that much more to wait for the damn january*

Btw, now that we are on topic, sorta... about What part of january will Bf:E be expected in stores? Is there already some guestimation? So are we looking at a really happy new years celebrations or are we gritting our teeth to the end of the month?

Yesss!!!

Curiosity satisfied for a some time (or will be come monday).

My humble thanks.

I am also interested on january. Will it be; A month of joy (early appearance of the swag) or a month of gnashing of teeth (BF:evo coming to stores 31st of Jan...).

I'd urge everyone to assume it'll be on the shelves in stores early Feb rather than late Jan, as it always takes a week or two after Mongoose's advertised "release to distribution" date for product to make it's way through the distribution chain and get to retailers (especially non-US retailers as everything has to be shipped over from the US). That way, if it gets through quickly you'll be pleasantly surprised rather than being disappointed when it takes longer than expected :)

'Twill be a month of joy........ Until they put the basic rules up for download, whereupon it will become a month of scratching of the head, staring intently at the rules, then at the sst rules and exclaiming "What the heck!"

Seriously, can't wait for a sneak peek at the basic rules, it will give a good idea of the way the whole thing will eventually run under the full rules. Can't wait.

Nil carborundum illigitimi!

Here monday, monday. Come, come here. That's it! Come here!

That's it... that's... No! No! Nooo! Come back here! Get back here right now!

Ahh darn it, I'll just have to wait.

Maybe I'll try with a cookie?

I think people are going to like the Abrams - full TUSK regalia, reactive armour on the side panels, RPG trap on the back. . .

Still prefer the Challenger II though :)

I wouldn't :)

European distributors are pre-ordering the game, so we are shipping box sets and promo packs directly to the UK - we are looking to get the sets to them in time for the worldwide release.

Supplies in the US may be more limited, as the distributors there are not pre-ordering (due to the general state of the gaming market on the continent as a whole). So, if you are after the game and are in the US, I would recommend you let your local retailer know and make sure he informs his distributor, because the first wave of box sets are going to disappear within the first week. . .

Actually, as the European distributors are preordering that could well be the case here as well, as they'll be preordering what they believe the stores will take and may not have much excess stock in the first shipment from the Mongoose warehouse over what the stores themselves have asked for. I know I've been asked by my distributor to give an idea of what I'll want for January and am in turn having to estimate customer interest to work out what that will be - so even if you're not in the US you may want to get your preorder in to your retailer so they can get their preorder in to the distributor.. who as Matthew says will be preordering from Mongoose... :D (most good retailers will usually preorder for a small deposit or no deposit at all, so usually it's just a case of letting them know what you'll be wanting when the big day comes). As this is all being sorted out over the next week don't worry about letting them know well in advance, as in a few weeks time it could be too late for them to ensure a bigger delivery from their distributor.

Silly question but, it will be possible to order online through the website right? If so, how long would it take to ship when it's the first box sets are released? I live in Canada btw.

Yes, for once we Europeans won't end up at the short end of the stick :)

And what comes to Finnish forces, I hope we will see some of them as well...
