Is there an article somewhere about magnetizing exo-suits?

And as an aside, Mr Evil had an exo suit with a bare head, how did h do it? Did he simply drill it out?

Basically I'll be doing a grizzly squad an NCO at some point soon, but I want to be able to swap weapons around, and have a bare headed NCO to look nice.

An issue of S&P a few months back had BuShips' method for magnetising exos, but it's pretty straightforward - drill holes in arms, file hardpoints off backpacks and glue on magnets. Just make sure the polarities all go the same way.

Yes, but then you'd miss out on all of my fluffy exposition.

I was doing some searching for another topic and ran across this. Sorry for not answering sooner, but it was in S&P Wargamer #44. For the short version, see Lorcan Nagle's answer.

It's very important to establish a consistant polarity for the weapons. With the Grizzly units toting two weapons hardpoints (really four, counting "holstered" positions) and three weapons choices, if you want to have the model represent what you are using in the game, doing a "mag mod" is the best method.
